This page describes the current Ask2Gift experience and is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice.
Ask2Gift currently works without user accounts or profiles. Favorites are stored in your browser using localStorage, recent quiz answers are stored in sessionStorage so your results can load in the same browser session, and an anonymous browser session identifier may be stored in localStorage when feedback is submitted.
If you choose to rate a results page, Ask2Gift may store whether the recommendations were helpful, any selected feedback reasons, an optional comment, non-identifying quiz and recommendation context, the current page path, and an anonymous browser session identifier. This feedback is used to improve recommendation quality.
Ask2Gift does not require a name or email address for feedback. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in optional comments.
Ask2Gift uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page usage. This helps improve the site experience and understand which pages are being used most often.
Ask2Gift is intended for users who are at least 13 years old and is not directed to children under 13. Ask2Gift does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents or guardians may contact support@ask2gift.com to request deletion of information submitted by a child.
The gift quiz may accept broad recipient age ranges and interests, but users should not submit names, addresses, exact birth dates, school information, or other identifying information about children.
Some gift links lead to external retailer or search pages outside Ask2Gift. Those third-party sites control their own privacy practices. Browser-stored data such as favorites and quiz answers may also be cleared by you through normal browser settings.

If Ask2Gift later changes its analytics setup, feedback data model, direct contact handling, accounts, or database-backed features, this policy should be updated to reflect the real implementation at that time.
